

Our Public Art Programs support excellence in public art of many kinds, by emerging and established artists, in new and traditional media, and through award-winning commissions and artist collaborations.
The program produces contemporary art for public spaces throughout the city.

A Constellation of Remediation
A two-year long public art project by T’uy’t’tanat-Cease Wyss and Anne Riley that includes the planting of Indigenous remediation gardens.
Adrift
The new sculpture Adrift is suspended in the double-height skylit space that spans between floors eight and nine at VPL Central Library.
Agents of change: collaborative alchemy
Agents of Change is a senior-focused public art project based at the Hillcrest Centre.
Centennial Totem Pole Conservation Project
We're reviewing the future of the Centennial Totem Pole located in Hadden Park just south of the Maritime Museum in Kitsilano.

A year-long project which will see unique poster prints by Diyan Achjadi installed on the fencing around construction sites in the Main and Cambie neighbourhoods.
Hastings Park: Home + Away
Home + Away is a playful public artwork with seating for over 200 people at Hastings Park's Empire Fields and Plateau Park.
Musqueam artist-designed crosswalk in Marpole
In collaboration with Musqueam, we're pleased to introduce a new original crosswalk design by Musqueam artist Robyn Sparrow.
